Magnetometers GT-MAG
Three GT-MAG modifications for different applications are available:
GT-MAG-2 for airborne surveys
GT-MVS for ground based geophysical surveys
base station GT-MVS-SB
GT-MAG installed on L410 aircraft. If magnetic sensor is rigidly mounted to the aircraft fuselage REINMAG software is used to compensate the magnetic influence of the aircaraft.

Benefits
Super High Sample Rate
GT-MAG magnetometers combine the highest sample rate of magnetic field measurements - 1000 measurements per second - with the sensitivity corresponding to the best cesium-vapour sensors: 0.2 pT/√Hz (the declared sensitivity of CS-3, CS-L sensors produced by Scintrex is 0.6 pT/√Hz). High sample rate provides the solution of the important problems associated with difficult conditions of high-dynamic flights or in the presence of electromagnetic noise.
High Quality Data In The Presence Of Industrial Noise
Magnetic surveys in industrial areas are complicated due to the influence of electric power lines. When the frequency of measurements is 1000 Hz, correctly applied digital filters suppress this influence.
Suppression of the 50 Hz noise with amplitude of 200 nT
High Quality Data Near The Helicopter Rotor
Rotation of the helicopter rotor leads inevitably to the cyclic influence of its magnetic elements on the magnetic data. The characteristics of the magnetic noise change continually as the angular velocity of the rotor varies. High-frequency measurements provide suppression of this noise by the use of the adaptive digital filter during data processing.
Suppression of the rotor noise
High Quality Data In The Presence Of Vibrations
It does not matter how rigidly the sensor was attached to the aircraft fuselage, mechanical vibrations caused by working engine bring noise at 20-40 Hz frequencies. The amplitude of this noise can exceed significantly a threshold of the sensitivity of the magnetometer. Frequency of 1000 Hz also provides suppression of this influence by the use of the adaptive filtration.
Suppression of the noise caused by vibrations
Integration With AEM Systems
GT-MAG can be used as stand-alone system or can be integrated into airborne electromagnetic system. Due to the unique measurement technology the quality of GT-MAG data is not affected negatively by the transmitter field of EM system.
